Sandy Payne Huber grew up in Okemos, Michigan, where she fell in love with Photography in middle school, thanks to the most amazing teacher ever, John Carney. In high school, she continued to take Photography classes and was a photography editor of the school yearbook. Sandy graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1998 with a BFA in Advertising Photography, and she continued her education at RIT to earn an MST in Art Education in 2000. She now teaches 6th and 7th grade Art, and high school Photography, Ceramics, and Computer Graphics at Lake Placid Middle/High School.
Sandy has been photographing weddings since 2005, and she has photographed over 60 weddings to date. Her style is straightforward; more journalistic than dramatic. She knows how much work goes into planning a wedding, and she strives to record everything, from the bride and groom to the guests, location, and finer details.
